con las mejores pistas de esquí, y abierta a ricas vegas en la propia ciudad
de Granada pero también en Motril, Loja, Guadix y Baza. Una tierra que
ofrece climas variados, algunos de los más elevados de Europa, rincones
naturales de belleza, y las magnificas playas de la Costa Tropical que
constituyen una preciosa reserva botánica, por la existencia de plantas

There is no other province like Granada in Spain. It is located at the foot of
snow-covered mountains with first-rate ski slopes, and opens onto rich,
fertile plains in the city of Granada itself but also in other major towns in
the province, such as Motril, Loja, Guadix and Baza. It is a land of varied
climates, registering some of the highest temperatures in Europe, with ar-
eas of spectacular natural beauty, and excellent beaches along the Costa
Tropical, which is, in fact, a beautiful botanical reserve where you can see
tropical plants growing not far from alpine species. Without a shadow of a
doubt, Granada is the most diverse province in Spain as regards climate
and landscape.
And if you think the province is exceptional, you'll find the city to be un-
beatable. When we think of Granada, we think of the Alhambra, but it is not
just the Alhambra; the legacy of al-Andalus has left us other magnificent
monuments that enrich and embellish the city.
It is the city of whispering waters, with the Genil and Darro rivers run-
ning through it; its Moorish wells and irrigation channels; its fountains
that grace the many squares and gardens. Granada, with its two most
emblematic districts: the Albaicín, of Moorish origin, and the Realejo, the
