85 HOPE During your life, hope must be alive in your heart, mind and body. Keep on hoping that you will experience the feeling of your achievements since childhood. Naturally, you have had some disappointments (that is a part of life), but your dreams that become reality will make up for that, and you will appreciate life even more. We may not realise it, but our life is full of hope. As a child, we believe in Father Christmas, and hope each year that Santa will deliver whatever we want. As a teenager and student, we hope to get on well with all our teachers and the other students, and get a good report at the end of each school term. Then we hope to get our driving licence. Later, we hope to get an excellent degree in an education subject, which will help us to get a well-paid job. We then hope to meet the man/woman who will become our husband/wife. After marriage, we hope to have perfect babies, who will grow up as model children in all ways. When they grow up, we hope that they meet and marry nice partners, so that we can become grandparents, and then hope we can live long enough to become great-grandparents. When that time comes, we hope that God will grant us good health, and hope that all our families believe and trust in God and love us. Let us hope that all Governments of the world, and others who are responsible for law-making, will receive guidance from God to make the right decisions to ensure our world is forever peaceful. We must never let hope become an egoistic or prestigious thing. It is extremely dangerous if you let that occur, as you leave the way open for Satan to enter into your heart and mind, and material value will take over your gift of spiritual wealth. Be alert and do not fall for the trap. I have seen many people during my life make the same mistake.
