Genuine faith will turn grief into happiness, knowing we are all born to die, and dying is the beginning of eternal life with God and all our past relatives and friends. Naturally, it is sad saying goodbye to our departed, not knowing how long it will be before we will be reunited. However, God helps us slowly to accept the death of our loved ones. We all know that, from the day we are born, life in this world is a very short journey in comparison with eternal life. We should be prepared for the end of our earthly life, soon after we are born. Unfortunately, it is sad to see so many people dying young, in some cases leaving young children orphaned. It is a mystery why, in contrast, many people live to be very old. This question is continually asked, and no-one has the answer. In the meantime, we can pray to God that He gives the relatives of the deceased, the strength and courage to accept their grief, knowing that the separation is only for a short time and, at the end of time, we will again be reunited in Heaven for peaceful and eternal life. Genuine faithful people are blessed to know that they can talk to God at any time, day or night and, in their minds, they can picture His image. He listens to our requests but, while we do not get an answer instantly, we can rest assured that he will grant it when it is the time we need it most. God has been telling us from the beginning, when He created the world, man and woman, and all other things, to trust Him, repent, and He will forgive us.
