54 Do we plan our own destiny during our lifetime? If you are blessed to be a Disciple, God has your lifetime plan from the day of your conception until your last day on earth. If you are an adult and a genuine Disciple of God, think back on all the good and sad times. If you are married and have children, think back to the time you met your spouse, the number of children you have had, and many other exciting events. Think of your occupation, all the good friends you have, all the things you planned which did not eventuate, and you can rest assured that everything which has happened in your life was for a reason. Only God knows the answer, because God plans everything for you. Be glad and keep trusting God, because God loves and cares for you. While I was growing up, I learned the word ‘justice’. It was one of the words that made me feel good, thinking that all human beings, regardless of status, nationality or religion would be treated equally, whether they needed reward or punishment. Unfortunately, as I got older, I discovered that there are two types of justice, one for the wealthy and one for the poor. Unfairness and injustice have been problems for a long time, so the leaders of the world, along with religious leaders, should get involved and solve these long overdue problems. The reason that there are many poor people in prison who are innocent is because they cannot afford to pay the high costs to defend their innocence. Health is the greatest happiness of all. Unfortunately, most healthy people do not realise that health is the best of all things available in the world, including material wealth. The wealthiest person in the world with poor health would not be as happy as the poorest person in the world who is healthy. Therefore, all healthy people should and must thank God daily for the gift of health, and the unwell people should pray that God will give them the strength and courage to cope with pain and suffering.
