12 As I needed to spend a long time resting in bed, I asked God for many other favours, and He granted them all. Having the Stroke was unfortunate, but it gave me time to consider many projects which could be undertaken, when I was well enough. I went on to accomplish numerous Community Service projects. One of the best of these was the Pat La Manna OAM Cancer/Stroke Research Legacy. Already, the Cancer/Stroke Research foundation has received $480,000 from Interest. God has an agenda for us all, including non-believers. You experience an inner peace when trusting God. Whatever happens to us on earth has a reason known only to God. There are many issues that concern me about the future of the world. One of them with which I am very disappointed is that some Parliamentarians, who claim to be religious people, are in favour of ‘same sex’ marriage. It is absurd that the Law will allow it - it is only a matter of time before it will be allowed world-wide. The question to be asked is “how can the world populate and prosper?”. From where will the children come to ensure that the world population continues? Will it mean that there will be no mothers, fathers, families, brothers, sisters, cousins? Believers and Parliamentarians know that this is an act of Satan to destroy God’s creations. So why should it be allowed? How will God react when this and other world problems get out of control? My advice is to pray that God will enter into the hearts of evil people, so that they will turn their hearts towards God. There is only a small percentage of evil people in the world but, unfortunately, their numbers are increasing. I believe this is due to the media world-wide reporting more depressing news caused by evil people, and very little, if any, of the good deeds that the people of God do to make a better world for the future. All over the world, those who operate the media can be blamed for causing people to lose faith in God. As a result, the media are suffering financially, because less people are reading newspapers, listening to radio or watching television news broadcasts. I am one of these people, as I could not handle the continuous bad news.
