David Haas `81
David graduated from gemological
school in New York City and now lives in
a beautiful manor house in Bucks
County, Pennsylvania, just a stone's
throw from the Delaware River.


Mary Anne (Alderson) Scott `84
Mary Anne moved to Colorado with her
husband and two boys, ages 3 and 5, to
enjoy every beautiful thing the Rockies
have to offer! And they do. Everyone is
happy and healthy.

Justin Latus `86
Teresa and family visited Justin Latus in
Washington, D.C. in August of 2012.

Ming Jung `88
Ming was named Chief Operating Officer
of Communications Equity Associates in
Tampa. Jung is a 15-year veteran and
most recently was the Chief Financial
Officer of CEA's private equity and
managed investments division.
Robert King, PhD `90
Robert presented "Freedom is Our
Lives: La Cristiada and Roman Catholic
Historiography" at the Community
College Humanities Association
(C.C.H.A.), Southern Division
Conference, in October at the historic
Seelbach Hotel. He was also re-elected
for a second term (2012 -
2014) as the C.C.H.A.,
Southern Division
Secretary. Robert
presented, "Pullman:
Catholic Teachings on the
Labor Movement, with
Contemporary
Applications" as the
keynote speaker for Barry
University's Economics
and Social Justice Lecture
Series. He has recently
published three e-books,
one that relates to
environmentalism, and
the other two relate
to deconstructing
post-modern ethics,
through Amazon.com.
Eric Diner `91
Eric continues to practice Urology at
Suncoast Medical Clinic in St Petersburg
on the campus of St Anthony's Hospital.
His oldest son Jacob became a
Shorecrest legacy when he started
kindergarten this year and younger
brother Jonah, age 4, and sister Jesse,
age 2, are likely to follow. Eric's wife,
Beth, is an Ob/Gyn in St Petersburg.
Peyton (Craig) McElroy `91
Peyton received her Master of Religion
at Yale Divinity School in 2004, then
her PhD in Philosophy from Stanford
University in 2011. Her dissertation
in philosophy was in ethics: "On
Redemption: The Value of Putting Bad
Things To Good Use." She accepted
a position at the University of South
Florida Tampa where she now teaches
Biomedical Ethics and Professional
Ethics. Peyton lives in St. Petersburg with
her husband, Jamie, who is an Episcopal
Priest at St. Peter's Cathedral. Their son
John is a third grader and their daughter
Alice is in Alpha at Shorecrest.
Kiley (Mahaffey) Tolberg `97
Kiley and her husband, Jeremy,
welcomed a daughter, Reese Colleen
IN MEMORIUM John Jung `88
John passed away September 20, 2012, at St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Petersburg. He
received his Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Florida State University
and was a member of the Quarterback Club in St. Petersburg. He was a season ticket
holder for the Tampa Bay Rays and the Tampa Bay Bucs and was a huge fan of all
local sports. He was also a devoted uncle to his brother Ming's children.
