Welborne to complete a team.
We are looking forward to
growing volleyball participation
with our current seniors partici-
pating next year.
The first ever Basketball game took place in the new Crisp Gym. It was an offensive show-
ing that pitted Seasoned Alumni against Young Alumni (and Athletic Director Tripp
Welborne.) The game was described by Rob King '90, as one played with "enthusiasm,
defensive tenacity and offensive precision." In the end, the Seasoned Alumni defeated the
Young Alumni team by a score of too many to too few. A special thanks to Ed Marcin '89
who helped to organize the game.
Three football teams com-
peted on a brisk night under
the lights of Haskell Field in
this year's culminating Turkey
Bowl event. Bruce Haskell
announced the game, along
with Mark Lettelleir '87 and
Jeff Ritch, Sr. The teams
played tough-fought games
consisting of two 15-minute
halves. The Young Alumni
beat the Seasoned Alumni
and claimed "The Turkey."
