list of Top 10 Most Stylish New Yorkers, although she
admits this was something she never expected. "It came
as a surprise! I would never go on AOL, but one day I
went to AOL and saw something on the homepage that
said `Jill Zarin, the fashion stylist of the year'! I took a
screenshot of it and almost passed out. For 30 years, I
worked in a clothing store, and I knew I wanted to work
in the clothing business a long time ago. And I did! It's
funny because I don't consider [myself] `working' a job
because I enjoy what I do... I just love it because it's so
rewarding. Even getting an interview with you is a special
accomplishment," remarks Zarin.

FOUNDATION. "My feeling is if you don't have it within,
you have to have a foundation. Beauty begins with a
foundation, inner or outer," says Zarin. She believes it is

her clients. "I still wonder how I was able to take my
daughter Allison to high school, work a reality show and
fashion without having a nervous breakdown, and enjoy
my life and soak up all the positive energy around me. I
left [for] a few weeks and I was back to work full speed
because I couldn't stay away from what I truly enjoy. I
love to work. I love to be creative and come up with
product and marketing ideas. And if I don't know how
to do something, I'll find someone who does," says Zarin.
