Havaianas initiative has been introduced
in Africa, after Brazil selected South Africa
as the very first African country to host
this international event. This event has
been successfully introduced worldwide in
the USA, Japan, Philippines, Hong Kong,
Taiwan, France and the UK, allowing
thousands of Havaianas fans to revel in
the ultimate celebration of self-expression
Make Your Own Havaianas (MYOH).
The MYOH pop up shop was launched in
Sandton City in October with an exclusive
VIP celebrity media event with guests in
attendance such as Jen Su, Simba Mhere,
Sureshnie Rider, Hayley Owen, Carmel
Fisher, Roxy Burger and many others. TV
crews covering the event included MTV
Choice and Vuzu and loads of fun was had
by the guests selecting and pairing up their
custom made Havaianas.
