HOW IT WORKS
DASHBOARD
Once you have set up your app, you
will be directed to your dashboard
THERE ARE 3 PRIMARY BUTTONS
i. Panic Hold down for 3
seconds to alert your Guardians of
your position
ii. Journey Click to start a journey
iii. Settings Edit your settings,
security code, or Guardians.
YOUR JOURNEY
To start a journey, simply enter in where you are coming from, where you are going, and how long
it will take. If you arrive at your destination early, or you are running late, you are able to stop or
extend the journey. For extra security, both of these actions require that you enter in your code. If
no action is taken and the timer runs out, an alert will be sent to your 4 Guardians with your last
known location.
PANIC BUTTON
If at any time you feel vulnerable or
threatened you can hold the panic button
down for 3 seconds, and an alert will be
sent to your 4 Guardians.
BLOW THE WHISTLE
The Blow the Whistle initiative is
about empowering women and
children, and giving them their
voices back reducing their
vulnerability. The aim of the Blow
the Whistle app is to make the
people of our country feel safe and
watched over, even when they
are alone.
SETUP
Allow the app access to your location and
your contacts, create your profi le, and select 4
Guardians from your contacts.
GUARDIANS
Select 4 Guardians from your contacts. These are
the people that will receive your notifi cations. You
can change them at any time.
