Ahjalia Hall
S
he is as beautiful as her smile; her
dancing is flawless. Better yet, she is
humble and so perfect in what she does
that she could easily be confused for a trainer
on Dancing with the Stars. Ahjalia Hall is her
name. You may have seen her perform with
some of the top choreographers in the nation,
including performances at the Key Club in
Hollywood and at numerous NBA and NFL
events, as well as on network television for
NBC. Some call her a perfectionist. Perhaps
it is no surprise she has been awarded the
prestigious Most Valuable Player Award by the
United Spirit Association for her outstanding
instruction in both 2007 and 2008, not to
mention the Theresa Vaughn Leadership Award
for her work in 2009 and the Unity Award for
dance instructors in 2010. In addition, Hall has
been a dancer and instructor with the United

Spirit Association working for the Los Angeles Avengers, Los
Angeles Clippers, the San Francisco 49ers and she was an
instructor for the NFL Pro Bowl halftime show in Hawaii.
The list goes on.
Hall may not be a trainer on Dancing with the Stars yet, but
it seems like she's probably qualified. She choreographs and
instructs dancers along with her business partner Jennifer
Maples, at their Southern California studio, Thrive Dance
Center. Originally from San Jose, California, she has been
training in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and hip
hop dance styles for over 27 years. Her journey began at the
