Located in South Africa's Bojanala region of the
North West Province, alongside Sun City and just
two hours drive from Pretoria or Johannesburg,
the 572km2 Pilanesberg National Park boasts
abundant wildlife, a plethora of species and is

game reserve's most distinguishing feature,
rather it is the unique setting of Pilanesberg that

Pilanesberg is situated in the crater of
an extinct volcano and is one of the largest
alkaline volcanic complexes in the world. The
