Increased Sensitivity
The combination of the uniform particle shape, narrow particle size distribution, and the
significantly shorter diffusion path results in much higher column efficiencies and increased
chromatographic resolution. The increased efficiencies provide an immediate benefit in
sensitivity since higher chromatographic efficiencies translate into significantly narrower and
taller peaks, making it easier to detect low level impurities.
