ecently, after a moment of self- reflection and
meditation I realised that too many of us rely on
being around people to make us feel important or to
make us feel some form of self- worth. We live in a
society where the media and other people's opinions
of us can shake the belief systems we hold about
ourselves. However, the real question is, when did
this all begin? When did the priorities, problems
and propaganda of negative outsiders over run and
override our own better judgement.
There are too many people who are living a life that
is not the best of their ability and not what they truly
deserve. They are too busy listening to thoughts that
do not belong to them. They are allowing those who
do not like or support them to have some form of
influence over their lives. The fear of being alone is
the one thing many struggle with. They would rather
have someone around them sprouting negativity just
so they can hold relevance to someone. This way
of living is detrimental to them becoming who and
what they are supposed to be. There may be a tiny
proportion of people who really attain the success
they have always dreamed of but believe me when I
say that that was partly due to them not surrounding
themselves with influences that tainted and stopped
their initial greatness from becoming greater.
If you are currently in a situation where you are
surrounded by an individual or individuals who are
dragging you down; whether in your social circles or
not; DROP THEM OUT and get rid. There is no time
to be polite or diplomatic about the situation. You
