Be Vocal!
When a trust issue is created make a note. If the
truth be told, anything can happen once. However,
twice in most definitely a pattern. Take time to talk
to your partner and address the issues at hand. Don't
allow them to fester or to develop first without taking
time to discuss them further. Strive to listen to your
partner and aim to reach a WIN/WIN scenario for
both parties moving forward. This is also another key
way to develop the trust and respect you have in one
another.
Support You Partner
Meet them half way when it comes to promises by
minimising the weight of the promises that they
make. For example: You agree to meet somewhere,
then offer to meet before and travel together.
Compromising and working as a unit will strengthen
your bond and will help to ensure that you develop a
keen trust in each other.; one where you work in unity
together.
Know When to Walk Away...
It's never the first option but it's an option that you
shouldn't ignore. When you've been vocal and you've
offered support and they still choose to not walk in
alignment with you. It really is time to hit the road in
seek of pastures new. As a person you have to value
yourself enough to know that, you deserve better.
And there you have it! Relationships are supposed to
benefit both parties not drain one for the benefit of
the other. Trust should be earned like money. If you
give it out for no reason why would someone feel they
should work for it! It sounds simple and of course I
recognise it isn't always. However, take it one day at a
time and more vitally, do what you feel is best for you.
