Eyes Long-wear Cream Shadows Are Your Friend
My Pick: Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24hr Gel-Cream Eyeshadow
The reason I love long--wear cream shadows for the summer and
festival season is because not only do they stay put for the rest of
your life (ok maybe not for the complete rest of your life, but at
least until you use eye make-up remover!), but they don't crease.
And in my book that's fantastic. My favourite is by Maybeline;
wear alone, or as a base for shadow you can use just your fingers
for quick application, or a brush to blend up into your eye crease.
There are some gorgeous summer colours including bronze and
gold which are brilliant for blue and green eyes, and Taupe and
minky lilac for brown.
My Picks: Smashbox Long-wear Blush, Bobbi Brown, And Mac
Mineralize SkinFinish (Soft and Gentle)
Long-wear blushes have more pigments which make them more intense
than regular blushers, but they last on the skin longer. Smashbox and
Bobbi Brown have some gorgeous colours for all skin tones, and I find
that they last the longest and don't look 'patchy' on fairer skin. Apply your
chosen colour sparingly with a medium sized blusher brush upwards
from the apples of your cheeks to your hairline, work quickly as long-wear
blushers set quickly! Then apply an optional shimmery glow to the highest
point of your cheekbones with Mac Soft And Gentle (or choose a shade
more suitable for your skin tone) or any shimmer brick you can get your
hands on.

Way (Are You Sensing A Trend Here?)
My Picks: Maybelline SuperStay 24hr Bold Matte And Revlon Just Bitten
The trick to wearing bright coloured lipstick for a festival (because it looks uber cool) is to find
one that doesn't dry out your lips and keeps the moisture levels intact, which can
be a task with long-wear lipsticks. That's why I love 'SuperStay 24hr Bold Matte'
because it has a double ended wand, where by the matte topcoat is applied second,
while the glossy first coat keeps the lips from drying out. These come in some
gorgeous summer colours such as bold reds and corals. My second favourite is the
'Just Bitten' range, which feels like you are applying a felt tip pen to your lips, but
once you get over that, they are fab and really do last for hours and hours.
