The Hangover Part 3
The Wolf Pack returns! Thankfully, they left the bachelor party storyline
out of the equation, but things still go wrong. After Alan's father dies,
his friends decide to take him to get treated for his mental issues. In true
Hangover style, they get lost, someone gets kidnapped, and all hell breaks
loose. I'll definitely be watching this film.
The Great Gatsby
Directed by Baz Luhrmann The Great Gatsby centres on Nick Carraway,
a Midwesterner living on Long Island. He becomes fascinated with the
stylish and lavish 1920s lifestyle being led by his neighbour Jay Gatsby,
and gets drawn into this world. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey
Maguire, Carey Mulligan, and Isla Fisher, amongst others, The Great
Gatsby is a film not to be missed this year. Although, it may not be the
first movie adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic American novel, it
looks to be the most decadent.
After Earth
Will and Jaden Smith reunite in this M. Night Shyamalan directed
science fiction flick that sees father and son, Cypher and Kitai Raige,
exploring Earth, 1000 years after humans evacuated it. When an asteroid
storm destroys their ship, and decorated soldier Cypher lies dying in the
cockpit, Kitai must journey across this hostile environment to save his
father. Also starring Isabelle Fuhrman, Zoe Kravitz, and Sophie Okonedo,
After Earth is a film to look out for.
Man Of Steel
Zack Snyder directs this latest take on the Superman comic. With Henry
Cavill in the leading role, Clark Kent is forced to confront his other-
wordly heritage when Earth is invaded by other members of his extra-
terrestrial race. Also starring Russell Crowe, Laurence Fishburne and
Kevin Costner, Man Of Steel is definitely a must-see movie, especially if
you're a fan of comic book movies.
The Big Wedding
If you're in the mood for some light-hearted romantic comedy, The Big
Wedding is one to watch. As their family gather for a wedding, a long-
divorced couple fake being married for appearances. Starring a whole
host of stars, from Katherine Heigl to Robert De Niro, Amanda Seyfried
to Diane Keaton, this all-star flick is an enjoyable, light comedy.
