Lauren's Way Glam Tan
I have written a full review for this tan before for In-spire LS a couple of months ago, and still
stand by the fact that I think it really is a great overall self tanner. Applying it with a tanning
mitt quickly as it dries pretty fast and you can get a beautiful, very realistic looking, olive tan
instantly. In my opinion, because I am quite pale, I wouldn't have been able to go out with this
tan straight away as the guide colour looked rather 'muddy' on me (almost green-yikes!), but
if you are darker you could probably get away with it. Rinse off the next morning to reveal a
beautiful olive toned tan, that is quite subtle and quite light in colour (don't be scared by the
strong colour guide when first applying!). It also was pretty good at not smelling like gone off
biscuits which is a plus, and faded beautifully like a natural tan.

Vita Liberata Phenomenal 2-3 Week Tan Mousse
"Well hello there...a tan that lasts 2/3 weeks??" This was my initial reaction to seeing this product,
and I just had to try it out for myself. I have always been a fan of Vita Liberata, and have liked the
colour that their products produce; never orange and always olive toned. This product scared me
a little when I first found out it would be a mousse, as my skin has never got on with mousse type
self tanners as it's rather dry, and usually prefers a gel or lotion to soak in properly. However, I
was surprised by how easily it glides on when using a tanning mitt, and didn't have any patchy
problems. Does it really last 2/3 weeks you ask? Well no, in short, I hate to disappoint but it didn't
last that long for me, however it did last a whopping 11 days without going patching, fading,
streaking, or disappearing which was pretty revolutionary. It comes in 3 different shades (light,
medium, and dark) I used medium which I think is pretty dark, so I would advise against using
their darkest shade unless you already have very olive, tanned, skin. This is perfect if you are
going on holiday, as it gives you a base colour to feel confident in when you first arrive on the
beach, and will last for days and days...and days...

Xen-Tan Dark Lotion Absolute Luxe
A lot of tanning products out there claim to be all singing all dancing solutions to all your
problems, and quite often leave me disgruntled with their false advertising. Xen Tan however,
is the closest I have found for actually doing what it says on the tin! Their `Dark Lotion
Absolute Luxe `smells gorgeous when you first apply it, kind of like vanilla pods, has a guide
colour so you know where you are putting it, and it is really moisturising which is helpful if
you have dry patches that usually don't fake tan very well. I love the fact it's a lotion, as I prefer
this type of tanner as I feel it is the most compatible with my skin. They claim to be odourless,
which is a massive claim in the sunless tanning world, and although I can't say that on my
skin this was the case (I could definitely smell a hint of DHA tanning agent by the following
day) it is by far the best I have come across to almost being odourless, so that made me pretty
happy. The colour you get is so natural, and olive toned which I really like. The only negative
thing I have to say about this tan is that I felt (on me) once you shower the guide colour off the
next morning, the tan is quite subtle, and so another layer needed to be applied which I didn't
expect when the name of the product has the word `dark' in it, but in my opinion I prefer this
to looking like an oompa-lumpa the next day, so I wasn't too worried.
Happy Tanning!
