painting class
Painting Class: drop in every Tuesday, 3:30-7 pm
There is a studio fee of $2.00; canvases sold separately. Many
different media will be used such as oil, watercolor, and acrylic
paints.
open pottery wheel
(for advanced users only)
Use of the tabletop pottery wheels will be available during the
art instructor's hours. Cost is $10 and includes a pound of clay.
tie dye & resists class
April 4, 5-7 pm at the ARC
Learn how to create resists on classic tie dye shirts and clothing!
Please provide your own pre washed articles of clothing, and be
prepared to get messy. Cost is $7. Some shirts will be available
to purchase. Class #313307-01
glass fusing
May 18, 11 am- 4pm
Learn how to create functional items by fusing glass in a kiln.
Price is $10.
indigenous clay workshop
June 29, 11 am-4 pm
Have fun using local clay to make pottery! Learn to identify,
prospect, and prepare local clay for firing into ceramic art. $5

wii games
Bowling Tournament: last Thursday, 5 pm
Games: every Thursday except first one of month, 5 pm
Wii games are a popular activity offered by Adapted Communi-
ty Recreation. It's a great way to play video games and exercise
at the same time! Wii games are played several times during the
month; please call 874-7473 for schedule.
card games
Every Tuesday, 4 pm
Come test your skills at rummy, go fish, golf, or teach us a new
game!
meXican train dominoes
Every Monday at 3 pm, every Wednesday at 2 pm
Mexican Train Dominoes is a new and different way to play
dominoes.
dances
March 22, May 17: 7-9 pm
Join us at the ARC for some Wii games and dancing! Admission
is $4.00 at the front desk, and snacks will be provided.
fishing trips
April-September: 4th Wednesday, 9 am
Fishing poles will be provided, but the participant must provide
his/her own bait and lunch. Transportation will be provided
from Paquin Tower at 9 a.m. Please call for more details.

There are many
volunteer opportunities available
with the adaptive sports programs. To volunteer, contact
Jody Cook with the Columbia Parks and Recreation Depart-
ment at 874-7312. To volunteer, it is helpful to
have a sports background as you will be inter-
acting with the athletes during practices.
Join the hand bell choir. Hand bells are a source of
enjoyment and pleasure for all who play and for the
thousands who are entertained. 2nd & 4th Mon, 3:30 pm.
