douglass Bulldogs
BaseBall league
Develop your skills in this instructional, non-competitive
league, beginning June 3. Boys AND girls can participate. Vol-
unteers can participate in training clinics. Players will receive a
league hat and shirt. Registration runs through April 5; a late fee
of $5 will be assessed after that date. Forms are available at the
Parks & Recreation office, the ARC, the Armory Sports Center
& online at www.gocolumbiamo.com. Volunteer coaches and

British soccer camp
June 17-21, Cosmo Park
In collaboration with Challenger Sports, British soccer
coaches will work with kids on foot skills, technical
skills, and tactical practices, while emphasizing sports-
manship, leadership, integrity and respect. Highlight
of the camp is the Camp Word Cup, a daily tournament to teach
players about customs, life and traditions of other countries.
Campers can make up soccer chants, wear team colors of their
country and bring flags while learning about the country they
represent. Campers receive t-shirt, soccer ball, poster, and skills
