Parks and Recreation has been partnering with the Osher Life-
long Learning Institute (OLLI) @ Mizzou since June 2010. Osh-
er's mission is to provide quality educational courses designed
to complement the lifestyles, interests, and concerns of the
over-50 adult. This commitment mirrors Columbia Parks & Rec
50+ programs, activities, Older American Klub and OAK Tours
programs, designed to meet the needs of seniors and the com-
munity by promoting healthy aging. Osher @ Mizzou invites
you to "Come as Learners, Leave as Friends."
The Spring Session run March 4 through May 3 and the
Summer Session from June 3-28. The Osher @ Mizzou class

50+ Explorers trips include social time at a local res-
taurant before or after a local adventure The group
travels on the Parks and Recreation 14-passenger
bus. We visit new or established businesses, museums
or galleries, historic sites, people or places of inter-
est Jaunts occur as events are scheduled and the best
way to keep track is by calling 874-7475 Prices are
minimal and vary Advance registration is required
as space is limited Recent travels have taken us on
a Katy trail tram ride from Rocheport to mcbaine,
and a Holiday Brunch at the Gathering Place Bed
and Breakfast We are always looking ahead to new
adventures
