CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS PARTY
The mandate of the Children's Christmas Party Committee is to plan and
coordinate an annual holiday event for the children and grandchildren of LSTAR
Members and their office staff.
After two years of gathering virtually, the LSTAR Children's Christmas Party
returned to an in-person celebration in 2022. The event was held on Saturday,
December 10, between 10:00am and 1:00pm at the Greek Canadian Community
Centre in London. Nearly 250 people turned out for the party, which included 114
children.
Each child received a special gift from Santa and the holiday festivities featured
face painting, cookie decorating, and a special performance by award-winning
children's entertainer Saidat. Everyone was treated to a pizza lunch and
delicious Christmas treats.
Toy and cash donations were accepted to benefit the Merrymount Family Support and Crisis Centre, while all proceeds
were in support of Investing In Children.
