LSTAR ANNUAL GENERAL REVIEW 2022
COMMITTEE UPDATE
The committee met in February, May, June, and August to discuss numerous topics including marketplace activity and
trends, education courses, ITSO commercial forms, and networking opportunities for commercial members.
The Commercial Committee conducted an audit of the Commercial member list, making updates to reflect LSTAR's
commercial members.
In July, the committee hosted a networking event for commercial members at Toboggan Brewing Company in London.
More than 40 members from across the region attended the event, which allowed members to re-connect, meet new
colleagues, and share commercial insights with LSTAR.
In September, the committee hosted Let's Talk Economics, which featured CIBC Senior Economist Katherine Judge and
an economic development panel, discussing the impact of the global economy on local commercial real estate, housing
and labour trends. More than 150 people attended the event, at the Best Western Lamplighter Inn and Conference
Centre.
