1. Daily delivery of mail delivered by the "COD" Carrier Onboard Delivery. All mail will be
sorted below the flight deck. The USS Harry S.Truman has also his own United States
Postal Service office.
2. Within two seconds, take-off speed is obtained with the help of the steam catapult. It is
essential that the correct weight of the aircraft is passed to the catapult operator so that
