Curious. Competitive. Seriously ambitious. They are athletes and academics
and humanitarians--engaging, erudite high-achievers who balance chock-
full agendas of challenging college-level course loads with extracurricular
activities that run the gamut from peer-mentoring and debate to national sports
teams and School drama productions. SGY2s represent the apex of the Saltus
student body, embodying not only what's possible to accomplish as an
exceptionally motivated teenager, but also the attributes that build such success.
"Our students are smart, confident, independent and decent human beings
who are proud of their School and what it stands for," says SGY Director Nicole
Chichon-De Silva. "They hope to change the world--and they probably will." As
they prepare to take flight to universities and colleges overseas, we profile eight
students who are impressive examples of what it takes to be a Saltus graduate.
