The Ray Rice Charitable Fund donated 100 book bags and school supplies
to Worcester County students. The bags were distributed through Family

Hispanic families in the Salisbury area in need of Easter Seals children's
therapy services have better access due to grants received from the Arthur
W. Perdue Foundation and the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore.
The grants, totaling $12,500, were used to hire a translator for therapists.

The Ocean City Lions Club recently awarded $2,500 scholarships to Ste-
phen Decatur High School graduates Shikerra Collick and Tomeya Tingle.
Collick will be attending Towson University with plans to major in political
science. Tingle will be a nursing major this fall at Salisbury University. Pic-

The Ocean City/Berlin Leo Club has installed new officers for the 2013/-
2014 year. The club is a youth-based group sponsored by the Ocean City Li-
ons Club and is based at Stephen Decatur High School. Every year, the Leos
assist the OC Lions in raising awareness and funds for their many eyesight
programs. Also, every year the Leo Club helps fund the National Lions Leader
Dogs for the Blind program. Pictured, from left, are new Leo members Collin

berg Fund awarded a $1,000 grant to ALS Association-Salisbury Walk to sup-
port their efforts to provide care services, direct research and enact public
