OCEAN CITY For many Ocean
City residents and visitors, the La-
bor Day holiday weekend marks the
official end of summer.
To ensure that summer ends on a
"bright" note, residents and visitors
can view the grand finale of the la-
ser light show, which will be held on
Sunday, Sept. 1, on the beach at
North Division Street.
"The laser light shows have
grown into one of most popular e-
vents that we offer," said Ocean City
Mayor Rick Meehan. "This summer
we offered a free laser light show for
our residents and visitors every
week and the grand finale this Sun-
day is going to be the best show yet.
If you are in or near Ocean City this
weekend, you won't want to miss it!"
The laser light show features a
five-story-tall inflatable sphere with
a visual laser, lighting, special ef-
fects, video and audio production,
all located along the Boardwalk.
In addition to the grand finale
show on Sunday, an additional laser
light show has been added for Sat-
urday night, Aug. 31. Each show is
approximately eight minutes in
length and begins at 9:30 p.m., 10
p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
