Oslo attack
Another keynote speaker is Anders
Groenli, Senior Security and Risk
Consultant at Arup, UK. He will
talk about the Oslo 22 July terror-
ist attack and impact on current
security thinking.
Anders Groenli works on threat
assessments and security strategies
for clients worldwide. Since 2010
he has also headed the develop-
ment of threat definitions and
attack scenarios for the European
Union FP7 research project SPIR-
IT (Safety and Protection of built
Infrastructure to Resist Integral
Threats). He formerly worked for
the Norwegian Ministry of For-
eign Affairs, as a policy adviser in
the Norwegian Parliament and as a
project manager for the European
Commission.
All this and more will be availa-
ble at the ASIS European Security
Conference and exhibition in
Gothenburg in April. n
Fadel is an international speaker,
orator, and presenter of Islam.
He has presented to more than
60,000 people all over the world
in churches, universities, and gov-
ernmental departments, including
the U.S. Department of Defense,
as well as at international events,
such as the Frankfurt International
Book Fair in 2004. Fadel founded
the Bridges Foundation in 2005,
an international organisation spe-
cialising in introducing the reality
about Islam to non-Muslims, and
training Muslim public speakers
and presenters.
Keynotes
The conference will also feature
dedicated sessions for Chief
Security Officers (CSOs) and their
deputies organised by the CSO
Roundtable of ASIS International,
an enlarged exhibition featuring
the latest in security technology
and services and exciting keynote
presentations.

International Union of Muslim
Scholars who received his master's

Exhibition will take place at the
Swedish Exhibition and Conven-
tion Centre in Gothenburg on
14 16 April 2013. It will cover
a wide range of security issues in
33 high-level educational sessions
divided over 3 parallel tracks.
Educational sessions will be
delivered by industry leaders from
important companies and or-
ganisations such as Astra Zeneca,
Deutsche Telekom, Zurich Insur-
ance Group, TNO, E. ON, and
De Nederlandsche Bank.

Islamic Scholar to Keynote at ASIS Europe 2013
ASIS International, an association for security profes-
sionals, has announced that Fadel Soliman, Director
of the Bridges Foundation will be a keynote speaker
at ASIS European Security Conference and exhibition
on 1416 of April in Gothenburg, Sweden. As a key-
note speaker Mr. Soliman will attempt to demystify
the concept of Jihad and explain how it is not syno-
nymous to terrorism.
