New look
The Expoprotection 2012
show was presented as a totally
revamped package with several
notable differences, which may
have contributed towards its suc-
cess. Some of the changes included
moving the timing of the event
to a month later and in addition
it took place in a completely new
venue much closer to Paris city
centre. n
According to the
organisers, its success in
attracting a thousand extra visitors
against an economic background
that was far from favourable
confirms what a draw Expoprotec-
tion is as a cross-sector event that
is strongly supported by those
involved in risk prevention and
management.
Exhibitors up
Exhibitor numbers were 5% up
(excluding media and institutional
partners) and almost 5,000 people
attended the 90 lectures and 40
workshops as Expoprotection
demonstrated that it is a not to
be missed event and a show case
for innovation, expertise and
know-how.
Across all its sectors (Health
& Safety at Work, Workwear,
Industrial and Natural Risks,
Countering Malicious Intent and
Fire-Fighting), the exhibitors who
were questioned reported packed

at the Paris Porte de Versailles exhibition centre from
