and an in-depth look at subjects
connected to the technological
evolution, the integration of
home-automation and the evolu-
tion towards IP security.

also confirms that during the first
half of 2012 there was a positive
step forward, almost a 1% increase
(source ANIE Sicurezza).

Sicurezza, the biennial
international event in
Italy had its focus in 2012 on anti-
intrusion, fire detection, passive
defence systems, home and build-
ing automation, ICT security,
intelligence and anti-terrorism,
products and services for public
law enforcement agencies and pri-
vate security companies. The show
celebrated thirty years of activity
and closed the 2012 edition with
positive results from several points
of view.
Up from 2010
16,136 visitors over 3 days (up
18%), 418 exhibitors (up 12%) of
whom 35% were from 33 foreign
countries. These results provide

Visitors up by 18% at Sicurezza 2012
Sicurezza, the biggest security show in Italy, was held
in Fiera Milano on 7-9 November 2012 and attracted
16,136 visitors over the 3 days. That was 18% up com-
pared to the show in 2010.
