eominster Credit Union (LCU)
presented Habitat for Human-
ity, MetroWest/Greater Worces-
ter with a check for $400.00 from the
donations collected at the fall Shred-
A-Thon held at its Worcester, branch.
The Shred-A-Thon was free to mem-
bers and non-members with dona-
tions being accepted for Habitat for
Humanity. Many generous members
and non-members stopped by to
have their sensitive documents shred
on site by the secure shredding ser-
vice, Northeast Data Shredding.
"The Shred-A-Thons are a great
event and a win-win for everyone,"
commented John O'Brien, president
and CEO. "We are helping to pre-
vent identity theft by securely shred-
ding confidential documents; we're
recycling which is good for the envi-
ronment; and with the generous con-
tributions, able to make a contribu-
tion to a great organization."
Joanne Lattanzi, Leominster Credit Union (LCU) Marketing Manager, and John J. O'Brien, LCU presi-
dent and CEO, present the check to Tim Firment, executive director, Habitat for Humanity/MWGW.

This year's theme of the parade was
"40 years of Musictown Memories",
and St. Anne's Credit Union of Fall
River, Mass. had a "Cirque de St.
Anne's" theme for their float, com-
plete with clowns, animals, and a
ring master. There were forty volun-
teers and their children, all very
happy to be a part of the festivities.
M.C. Music Productions DJ'ed the
float as volunteers threw candy and
showcased their "Second Place" tro-
phy on the float for the second year
in a row. St. Anne's Credit Union of
Fall River, Mass. has been a partici-
pant of this annual parade for years
now, an event that employees an-
ticipate with excitement.
