Right in the middle of nature
D
eep woods, beautiful beaches and water as far as you can see. The nature at Lolland-Falster has a lot of exciting and unique attractions. With a GPS or smartphone you have access to an endless number of treasure hunts in the open. The treasures are not of high value; the object is the hunt itself. This is called geocsching and all you have to do is to join in at www.geocaching.dk Læs mere: www.geocaching.dk
The rich bird life at the South Sea Islands
Being positioned between Scandinavia and Central Europe Falster is a favourit foraging and breeding area to a big number of species of birds. A lot of the birds are not sedentary birds in Denmark, they are just passing by. All through the summer wading birds gather at the small islands in Nakskov Fjord, and especially in the spring and autumn Gedser Odde is a perfect place to see the imposing bird migrations.

Use your legs in Ravnsby Bakker or go exploring among pheasants and roe deer in one of the many forests at Lolland-Falster. Whether you are a hardcore wanderer or just enjoy going for a walk out in the open, you can easily find challenges that match your physical condition and temperament. It could be an advantage to the wanderers to follow one of the many marked bicycle routes and a tour with the nature guide could give you completely new experiences.
