most famous reefs and legendary destinations. revel in the
excitement during a seven­day cruise. Here's a sample itinerary:
Day 1
Guests of a marinemax Vacations charter will depart from the
east end of tortola after a friendly greeting and boat orientation
at the Hodges creek marina base. this location places boaters in
close proximity to salt island for snorkeling and diving the famous
wreck of the rhone. after the morning's adventure, guests may
choose to head over to cooper island to enjoy dinner ashore.
Day 2
relax on a leisurely day trip to Virgin Gorda to
explore famous rock formations at the Baths on
the southwestern tip of the island. following this
excursion is a good time to shop at spanish town,
followed by a stop at the Dogs for a snorkel. then a
cruise through the still waters of Gorda sound to pick
up a mooring ball for the night to top off a perfect
afternoon.
Day 3
an early start to the day can begin with a cruise
to the island of anegada. Here visitors take an open
cab to loblolly Bay for an afternoon snorkel and walk
one of the best beaches in the world or snorkel one
of the world's largest coral reefs. Before you go,
remember to book your lobster dinner ashore.
Day 4
you can cruise to trellis Bay, a bustling little community on
the beach just beside the airport on Beef island. trellis is a great
spot for people watching, windsurfing, shopping for unique gifts,
or just chilling out. another favorite choice is enjoying the very
tranquil anchorage of marina cay, which lies across the channel
to the north, off Great camanoe.
Day 5
a cruise towards Jost Van Dyke takes boaters by some of the
best snorkeling spots in the BVi; namely, monkey Point on Guana
island. or boaters can chose to cruise towards sandy spit, an
uninhabited islet measuring less than half an acre and is one of
the most photographed islands in the world.
