Imperial Valley Economic Development
Corporation (IVEDC) is the regional economic
development agency with the core mission of
growing and diversifying the economy of Imperial
Valley.
IVEDC, along with its partner agencies
including: the City of Brawley, Brawley Chamber
Of Commerce, Imperial Irrigation District and the
County of Imperial have created innovative solu-
tions to position the City of Brawley and the
region for economic vitality.
IVEDC has leveraged its resources by
jointly attending industry speci c tradeshows
with partner agencies to promote the region and
its abundant opportunities. When marketing the
region, including the City of Brawley, IVEDC
emphasizes the many business opportunities
along with our abundant natural resources and
business friendly climate. Most importantly, IVEDC
conveys the sense of community that thrives in
the City of Brawley.
Throughout Imperial Valley, IVEDC has

successful in connecting many local businesses
with contracting opportunities within the renew-
able energy industry and will continue to focus
these e orts toward new and emerging industries
like bio-fuels, algae and aerospace manufacturing.
