A pretty, eye-catching design which is very easy to achieve
is glitter fade nails. Get inspired by Christmas decorations
and pick two complimenting glitter colours. Foils look
fantastic embedded into acrylic to make an icy design.
When using most gel polishes, before removing the sticky
layer, rubbing foils can be used to create shimmery nails
that would look very great at a party; cracked ice and
crushed shell used in Christmassy colours incorporated
into a design can create a beautiful look; 3D holly, Santas
and Christmas flowers can also look great. Sit down well in
advance of Christmas and plan and create these designs
to display to clients. If they can see the designs they are
more likely to ask you for them. Remember to add a few
simpler designs, with say a courtesy reindeer or two in
case a client wants something more simple and fun!
For the clients who just prefer to wear plain nails with
no or minimal nail art, it's a good idea to stock up on
gel polishes and nail polish in Christmas shades. By
Christmas shades I mean, red, green, silver, gold, bronze,
white, blue, shimmers and glitters etc. You can always
tempt your client into having a signature nail adorned
with crystals to add some sparkle for the holidays.
Make sure you have as much fun creating
your beautiful Christmas nail art as your
clients will undoubtedly have wearing it!
And Merry Christmas!
