characteristics of hot glass. The result is a body of
work full of bold colors, graceful curves, and subtle
texture reminding the viewer of a scene from nature.
Over the years, Patchen has experimented with the
concept of precious things hidden and revealed,
and Bloom is an expression for these ideas.
