George Weyerhaeuser, Jr. served as a trustee
for Museum of Glass for many years and also
happened to be a great lover of wine. George
developed a particular affinity for French wines
when his grandfather taught him to drink them.
He also appreciated the wines of California and
Washington for their strength. His grandfather
bought Chateau d'Yquem just after WWII, and
George recalled fondly that his grandfather
continued to drink them even if they had peaked.
These 12 bottles of wine are a selection from his
private cellar, accumulated over many years of
enjoying and collecting fine wines.
