The challenge: he likes modern, she likes traditional.
The solution: A farmhouse sink, shaker cabinetry,
and a simple faucet for her; contemporary lights and
chairs, a sleek backsplash, and a range hood for him.
White quartz Countertops tie the
two looks together.
Simple shaker cabinet doors,
painted a soft pale grey, and a
contrasting dark grey island and
display storage at the dining room
entry made this a transitional space.
The pocket doors allow the kitchen to
be separated from the dining room,
for more formal gatherings, but the
glass panels are a contemporary
look and don't make either space
feel claustrophobic when the doors
are closed.
