Annual Raffle Raises $5,680 Women Of Distinction Recognized
At Tea By Worcester County Groups
The winner of A Perfect Face Day Spa’s Annual “Pamper For Charity" raffle was Billie Terrones. The raffle raised $5,680 for the American Cancer Society, representing an increase of $1,060 from last year. Joanne Harvey selected the winning ticket at the West Ocean City day spa earlier this month. Above, A Perfect Day Spa owner Carol Withers presents the donation to American Cancer Society representative Beverly Furst, middle. The raffle is organized each year by Withers to honor her mother, Elizabeth Chaney, who died of breast cancer in 1995, and this year was particularly memorable because it also honored her aunt, Louise Crum, who recently passed away.
