WEST OCEAN CITY – Young local wrestlers from the Eastern Shore Intensive Wrestling Club, based in West Ocean City, have turned in strong performances at early pre-season matches around the mid-Atlantic region, setting the stage for what should be another successful campaign in 2013-2014. The Eastern Shore Intensive Wrestling Club, under the direction of Coach Keith Tobin and his staff, provides young grapplers in the area with training and mentoring all year around in an effort to provide them with a foundation for future success. Thus far this season, the ESIWC
wrestlers have already won their fair share of hardware in several regional meets. At the Super 32 Qualifier in Hockessin, Del., in September, Jagger Clapsadle took first place in his division. Also in September, Kevin Bowne took second place in the Louisa September Sizzler in Virginia. On Oct. 6, the ESIWC wrestlers competed in the UMBC Retriever Open in Baltimore with Noah Reho and Johnny Hofman taking second place, while Clapsadle took third and Anthony Caruso took fourth. At the MSWA Bouts on the Bay last weekend, Reho, Clapsadle and Camden Fischer took first place, Bowne, Dalton Deheny and Andy McKahan each took second and Alex Koulikov took third.
