BERLIN -- Ocean Pines is cele-
brating its 45th anniversary with a
number of activities and events
scheduled throughout August. All
activities are open to the public.
On Saturday, Aug. 3, the celebra-
tion kicks off from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in
White Horse Park in conjunction
with the 36th Annual Pine'eer Arts
and Craft Festival with over 100 arti-
sans from all over Delmarva and a
traditional homemade bake sale.
Food Vendors are Billy's Pizza
Shop from Crisfield that will be sell-
ing oyster sandwiches, pit beef and
homemade lemonade, and the
Ocean Pines/Ocean City area Ki-
wanis will be selling hot dogs, Polish
OP Plans 45th Celebration Events
sausages and other snacks. East-
ern Shore Kettle Korn and and ice
cream will also be for sale.
Festival-goers can also enjoy the
Ocean Pines Farmers Market ven-
dors with local, home-grown pro-
duce, veggie cookies, organic pet
treats, eggs, local honey and more.
In addition to arts and craft ven-
dors inside, the Community Center
will also host over 20 Ocean Pines
community groups who will show-
case their clubs or organization in
the Community Center.
The Ocean Pines Fire Depart-
ment with be there and selling
house raffle tickets.
