This 2-day course is a multi-disciplinary course and is open to Doctors and selected staff having been chosen to respond as part of the Medical Emergency Team. The EPLS course provides training for multi-disciplinary health care professionals in the early recognition of the child in respiratory or circulatory failure and the development of the knowledge and core skills required to intervene to prevent further deterioration towards respiratory or cardio-respiratory arrest. This 2 day course is a collaboration between the European Resuscitation Council and the UK Resuscitation Council and reflects changes in resuscitation education.
