Join the Institute Library!
The Library provides and promotes materials for
education, information and research to students
and staff of the Institute and employees of the
Health and Social Services Department.
Additionally, any member of the public may use
the library for reference purposes, free of charge,
or obtain full membership through payment of an
annual membership fee.
A Membership allows you: access to the library
collection of electronic journals and research databases,
the loan of books and more....
Library collection
The Institute Library collection provides materials for education, information and research in most health and
social care specialities, including:
More than 10,000 electronic journals and a number of online health and social care databases
Books and audiovisual materials covering all the main specialities of health and social care, as well as
subjects such as education, management and research.
Older material relating to local epidemiology and health and social care services.

Information Skills Training

Monday to Friday
8.30am to 5pm (Staffed 9am to 4pm)
`24/7 access' cards are available to members
