A sincere thanks and appreciation
to the Ocean City Police Department
for their quick response, professionalism and
skill in responding to and arresting those involved
in a multitude of serious crimes in Ocean City
over the last 4 weeks in June.
As this violent behavior appears to become
the acceptable norm each June or worsens,....
all we have is the response and dedication
of a police force that can't be everywhere at all times.
IS THERE A SOLUTION?
Surveillance cameras on each block of the boardwalk?
Curfews on the boardwalk or surrounding areas?
No loitering laws for those under 21
on the boardwalk after midnight?
Laws on inappropriate clothing?
Each one requires a dedicated police force ....
which Ocean City has. Keep up the good work.
