Advantage+ (opportunity registration)
Overview
Advantage+ is VMware's Opportunity Registration Program that rewards partner for value-selling and leading with
VMware solutions. Advantage+ is our way of saying thank you for your efforts in finding new business opportunities
and educating customers about the value of VMware.
NEW! The Opportunity Source dropdown list has been simplified. This new field enables partners to notify VMware
of the type of marketing and sale activity that generated the opportunity being registered.
What to Select from the Opportunity Source List

If the opportunity is directly related to a GRID campaign--whereby you tele-qualified the leads generated from the activity
yourself and not through the VMware Partner Marketing Bureau--select: VMware GRID/Email Campaign.

If the opportunity is directly related to a Call-Out Day or other prospecting activity, select: VMware Prospecting Activity/Call
Campaign.
·
If the opportunity is not related to the above two specific VMware programmes but is still sourced by some MDF-funded acti-
vity like an event, seminar or webcast, select: VMware MDF­Funded Activity.
·
If the opportunity has been found and nurtured directly by the partner, with no supporting investment or programme support
from VMware, select: Partner Led Activity (Non-MDF).

Overview
Protect Your Pre-Sales Investment
Value-sell VMware, register qualified opportunities, and with safeguard you can
receive opportunity protection. Meaning once approved, we'll recognize you as
the partner of record throughout the registration period and no other VMware
partner will receive advantage+ benefits for your approved opportunities.

By registering qualified deals, and by attaining a valid approval from VMware Sales
for value-selling, you're on your way to receiving up to a 10% incentive if you close the
deal.

Overview
Sell to New Customers ­ Double your OppReg Bonus Rebate
When you bring new customers to VMware, you can earn an additional 10% bonus
rebate if you close the deal. Meaning you can earn up to 20% through advantage+.

Solution Rewards
Overview
VMware Solution Rewards is a financial incentive program designed to accelerate the profitability of partners who
achieve Solution Competencies. The incentives are awarded as quarterly rebates for driving sales of products within
the solution area of expertise. Rebate percentages vary based on VMware Solution Competency Designation.
New Customer Bonus Rebate
Overview
6% Commission on Lost Deals
Influence rewards eligible partners who have an approved registration with up-to a 6%
incentive, even if the opportunity is fulfilled by another VMware partner. This unique
approach rewards partners for educating potential customers about the value of
VMware and working with us to develop the opportunity.

vSOM and VDP Accelerator Promotion
Overview
For a limited time only partners can earn an additional 5% on their oppreg when
selling vSphere with Operations Management (March 15-Sept 15, 2013) or vShpere Data
