We are proud to use only the very best premium raw ingredients and avoid the
use of unnecessary additives within our products. Nutrigold products do no contain
artifi cial colours, fl avours, preservatives or aspartame. Artifi cial binders are not
included in any Nutrigold products as these can dilute the active ingredients,
reducing supplement potency and therefore value for money.
In some of our supplements we do use traditionally `inert' ingredients (i.e. excipients) in trace amounts
and only where applicable. Excipients are essential in the accurate manufacture of capsules, tablets
and liquids. These are listed in the encapsulated / tableted section of each product.

Main Use
Ascorbic Acid
An antioxidant and natural preservative.
Beeswax
Suspending agent in oil capsules.
Carnauba Wax
Natural excipient from leaves of Copernicia prunifera palm that
forms shiny outer capsule shell enabling easier swallowing.
Carrageenan
Seaweed based gelling agent suitable for vegetarians and vegans:
an excellent alternative to gelatin.
Citric Acid
An antioxidant and natural preservative.
Corn Maltodextrin
Starch used as a binder of capsule ingredients.
Croscarmellose
Natural cellulose excipient that promotes breakdown of tablet
following ingestion (a "super-disintegrant")
Dicalcium Phosphate
Used as a diluent. Many capsule ingredients are required in tiny
amounts so have to be diluted for accurate dispersion.
Disodium Phosphate
Used as a sequestering agent, i.e. helps to combine
ingredients
together.
Gelatin
Natural animal-based gelling agent used in the formation of
OmegaSmart
®
and Phosphatidyl Serine capsules

Glycerine
Extracted from palm oil and helps the products retain moisture.
