Welcome to marinemax lifestyles

2013 marks the 15th anniversary of marinemax as a pub-

lic company on the new york stock exchange and completes
my 40th year in the business. i have seen many things over
my 40 years--successes,challenges--but the most impor-
tant thing i have seen is that boating changes people's lives
by uniting them with their families and friends on the water.

Boating has had a very positive impact on me, my family

and many friends over the years. every week i am out wa-
ter skiing, wake boarding, cruising, fishing and enjoying the
many benefits of boating. teaching a child or grandchild to ski, catch their first fish, or
explore a new destination is very rewarding. i feel so very proud when i hear the wife
of one of our customers say to me that she appreciates seeing her husband relax, and
watching the kids spend time with their parents. Wow, that is changing lives and giving
families what they need--true family bonding.

i tell our team to reflect on how boating has impacted their lives and the lives of

their family and their customers. Boating is one of life's greatest recreations and, as
ceo of marinemax, it is what gets me up each morning, excited about life and our
business. i am very proud of our team and their passion to serve our customers' boating
needs as part of our marinemax family.

that's why marinemax offerings are constantly evolving--we have great new prod-

ucts in our line-up for 2014, from stunning yachts from sea ray and azimut, to brand
new jet boats by scarab

. We are very excited about working with our manufacturing

partners and sharing these impressive new products with you in the months to come.

the marinemax mission, however, is the same. We take the hassle out of boating

by treating our customers with fairness and understanding, and helping them see all
of the opportunities that boating brings to their lives. as we celebrate a milestone in
the life of our company, what we are really celebrating is you, our loyal customers. it
has been a tremendous privilege to bring the wonders of boating into your lives and
to be able to share in your journey as you discover family, friendships and beautiful
destinations.
