allison, noting the couples share a signature cocktail of absolute
mandarin and tonic with an orange wedge.
the two couples do boating trips together, heading frequently
to ocean Beach on fire island on weekends. "We leave from
montauk and in two and a half hours we are in newport enjoying
life together," says Gary, "sea ray boating is a way of life, it's
really not regular boating, more like a state of being."
all four remain loyal sea ray owners and will stick with the
brand in the event a case of "boatitus" crops up. "in the back of
your mind, you're always thinking about moving up to a larger
model," Gary muses, but can't deny he and allison are extremely
happy with their current model. "Well designed, well-made and
safe," Gary underlines.
meanwhile, the marinemax experience figures heavily into
their series of upgrades over the past eight years or so. they
bought the latest edition to the family at the marinemax long
island marina in lindenhurst, ny from sales associate mark
Walbrecker, just in time for the boating season.
"this is our fourth boat in eight years, and this past experience
with mark, backed up by regional Vice President matthew
Barbara, was simply the best," explains Gary. "the attention to
detail, and making sure the boat was ready on an unbelievably
tight deadline, was phenomenal," he says.
"We literally picked the boat up on a saturday afternoon, a
week after we bought it, and within an hour we were on the
water and on our way up to montauk," says Gary. "the operation
was first-class," he concludes, "i'll be a customer for life."
With the combination of sea ray boating and the wraparound
