VINEYARD VOWS
A vineyard is a naturally gorgeous
location choice for weddings and
receptions. As residents of the Central
Valley, we are fortunate to have an
abundance of wineries to choose from
for just such an event. Wineries lend
themselves well to both formal affairs
and more casual occasions equally, so
brides and grooms are able to tailor
the look to fit their personalities and
preferences perfectly.
If you think you want to visit the idea
of a winery wedding, be sure to discuss
your needs with the winery staff early to
obtain knowledge of what each winery
has to offer and what they will supply or
will not. Wineries can vary greatly. Some
may be outdoor only venues while others
may offer an enclosed area. Your guest
list will be a factor as well so if you can, be
prepared with an estimated number of
guests when deciding on the right venue
for you.
Consider the time of day that will be
best suited for you and your guests at
a particular winery. Some locations will
have views of the beautiful sunsets and
you'll want to take advantage of that.
Photos during this twilight time turn out
magnificent as well, so try to keep that in
mind when choosing an event time. The
best part of being in an outdoor setting
is making use of all of the wonderful
aspects that nature has to offer, especially
in a setting such as a vineyard.
