TEACHING & CLUB PROFESSIONALS We are THE Women in Golf! The LPGA Teaching and Club Professional (T&CP) membership trains, develops and certifies golf teachers, coaches and industry leaders. The research-based LPGA Teacher Education Program (TEP) identifies and refines the core competencies required to be not only effective, but exceptional. The LPGA student-centered model trains teachers to concentrate on the needs and desires of students who want to learn and enjoy the game of golf for a lifetime. Beginning with understanding the concepts of motor learning and golf biomechanics, LPGA teaching pros learn a myriad of skills to help them deliver personalized, results-oriented instruction that fits the changing needs of students/ clients. These topics include swing analysis, sports psychology, club fitting, fitness for golf and much more. The LPGA T&CP was founded in 1959 as an outgrowth of the LPGA Tour. More than 1,600 members strong, the LPGA T&CP boasts the largest association of women golf professionals in the world.
